Pearson International Airport
The closest major airport is the Pearson International Airport in Toronto, ON – approximately one hour east of Kitchener-Waterloo.

Airways Transit
Door-to-door transportation to/from Toronto Pearson Airport can be arranged through Airways Transit. Reservations can be made online at www.airwaystransit.com or by phone at +1-519-886-2121. The ride takes approximately 90 minutes and costs CAD $90 each way (gratuity extra).

Region of Waterloo International Aiport
The Region of Waterloo International Aiport is 20 km (about 30 minutes by car) from Waterloo's main campus. The airport is served by WestJet (direct flights to Calgary) and American Airlines (direct flights to Chicago).
To reach Waterloo's main campus from the Region of Waterloo Airport, you'll need to hire a taxi.
Directions by car
UW is located in the twin cities of Kitchener-Waterloo in southwestern Ontario, about 90 minutes drive west of Toronto or 3 hours east of Windsor-Detroit.
- From Highway 401, take Exit 278 (from Toronto) or Exit 278B (from London) to Highway 8 West, Kitchener.
- From Buffalo and Niagara Falls, follow Queen Elizabeth Way in the "Toronto" direction to Highway 403 West (1 hour); follow Highway 403 West to Highway 6 North to Highway 401 West to exit 278 (45 minutes).
- Follow Highway 8 West to Highway 7 East (an expressway called the Conestoga Parkway). Be sure to take the exit for Highway 7 East, not Highway 7 West.
- Keep left. Do not exit on Highway 7 East (Victoria Street and Guelph). Expressway becomes Highway 85 North.
- Exit at University Avenue West and drive about 3 km until you reach the entrance to the University of Waterloo at University Avenue and Seagram Drive. Major streets you will cross as you drive along University Avenue are: Weber Street, King Street, and Albert Street. (Wilfred Laurier University is on your left between King and Albert Streets.)
- Turn right into the University.

Bus and Public transit
From Waterloo Inn to Davis Centre by GRT bus (one way fare CAD $3):
There are 2 options (about 30 minutes).
- Take Bus 7C (southbound) on King Street right outside Waterloo Inn or walk south (about 1 km) towards the intersection of King and Columbia St. Then change Bus 7E or Bus 31 (westbound) to UW Campus-Davis Centre.
- Take Bus 7C (northbound) on King Street right outside Waterloo Inn to Conestoga Mall Terminal. Then change iXpress 200 to UW Campus-Davis Centre.
Train
Taxi
Local taxis are usually waiting outside the train or bus station. If you need to call for one, you may try the following companies:

It will cost approximately CAD $16 to travel from the bus terminal (Charles St. Transit Terminal) or Kitchener Train Station to Waterloo's main campus. Fares vary depending on the traffic.
