LATIN 2010 - 9th Latin American Theoretical Informatics Symposium

Call for Papers

We seek papers presenting original research on theoretical computer science, including, but not limited to: algorithms (approximation, online, randomized, algorithmic game theory, parameterized complexity, etc.), automata theory and formal languages, coding theory and data compression, algorithmic graph theory and combinatorics, complexity theory, computational algebra, computational biology, computational geometry, computational number theory, cryptography, theoretical aspects of databases, information retrieval and networking, data structures, networks, logic in computer science, machine learning, mathematical programming, parallel and distributed computing, pattern matching, quantum computing and random structures.

Accepted papers will be published by Springer-Verlag in Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.

Notification of Acceptance: November 20, 2009
Camera-ready Submission: December 10, 2009 Extended to December 18, 2009
Symposium: April 19-23, 2010

Abstracts

Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract in English no longer than 12 pages on letter-size paper using at least 11-point font in LNCS format, including the bibliography. Additional necessary details and omitted proofs must be included in a clearly marked appendix that will be read at the discretion of the program committee. Simultaneous submission of papers to any other conference with published proceedings or submitting previously published papers is not allowed.
