Stephen M. Watt: Research
My research interests lie primarily in the areas of
  - Computer algebra,
e.g. algorithms for gcd and factorization of
      various sorts of polynomials.

  - Programming languages and compilers,
      e.g. compiler optimizations for templates.

  - Pen-based computing,
e.g. collaborative inking, mathematical expression editing.

  - Mathematical knowledge management, e.g. mathematical web services.
