Reid Kerr You have found Reid Kerr's page at the University of Waterloo. I recently completed a PhD in the Artificial Intelligence Group of the School of Computer Science, under the supervision of Professor Robin Cohen. I also completed my Master's degree under the supervision of Professor Cohen.

Earlier research of mine has been in the area of Trust and Reputation in Multiagent Systems, focusing primarily on electronic marketplaces. I have a particular interest in issues of security in trust and reputation systems: both the presence and implications of vulnerabilities, and the development of provably secure systems.

My doctoral research focused on the issues of coalitions and collusion in multiagent systems. This work proposes what we believe to be the first broadly-applicable method for detecting coalitions within a larger population. Our first application and demonstration of our techniques has been within the trust and reputation domain.
