There will be one midterm test of

worth
20%

the
final mark (12% for CS686).
The
midterm
is
scheduled on March 1st.
There will also be a final examination of 2.5 hours worth 40% of the
final mark
(35% for CS686) to be
scheduled by the registrar.

(12:30 pm - 3 pm)
- Duration: 2.5 hrs
- Material subject to examination:
- Slides for lectures 1-24
- Complementary readings (textbook and online papers) for
lectures 1-24
- Assignments 1, 2, 3 and 4
- No aids allowed (i.e., no notes, no lecture slides, no textbook,
no computer, etc.)
- Bring a non-programmable calculator
- No programming questions
- Questions will focus on concepts
- Exam style similar to the midterm
- To practice:

- Date: Thursday March 1st,
8:30-9:50.
- Room: RCH302 (This room is bigger than
our classroom, which will give everyone more space to write the exam
comfortably.)
- Duration: 75 min
- Material subject to examination:

- Assignments 1 and 2
