I completed a Ph.D. at the University of Waterloo studying computer science in 2025 where I was a a member of the Natural Phenomena Simulation Group. My research focused on simulating light interactions with snow targeting applications in computer graphics and remote sensing. I earned an M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Calgary in 2004, and a B.Math. in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo in 2001. My research interests include simulation and rendering of natural phenomena for computer graphics.

I enjoy photography, cross-country skiing, canoeing, and hiking.
