Logs→ Properties→ Command Function

Use this window to view and analyze commands issued by users of the Dell OpenManage™ systems management software solution.

Description

The Logs→ Properties→ Command function displays events with a severity, date and time, user, and description. You can see who has logged in, and with what privilege level. The command log tracks log ins, log outs, systems management software initialization, shutdowns initiated by systems management software, and other actions such as setting values and alert actions. The command log also records the last time the log was cleared.

None.

Operations and Inputs

• Print — Prints the log.
  
  
• Email — Displays an e-mail window, attaching log content to the e-mail. Use this feature for support purposes.
  
  
• Clear Log — Erases all events from the log.
  
  
• Save As — Saves window content in a .zip file.
  
  
• Refresh — Redraws the screen.
