Example NetWare* Configuration Files for iANS: Intel® Network Adapters User Guide
Here is a series of examples for common configurations of Intel's intermediate driver software,
iANS.LAN. These examples use a combination of Intel PRO/1000 and PRO/100 adapters. The
intermediate driver uses the same syntax with all Intel server adapters regardless of speed. Therefore you may substitute CE100B for CE1000 and vice versa in any of these examples. The only exception to this is that
EtherChannel* keywords are dependent on the connection speed. Use
"mode=fec" for 100 Mbps and "mode=gec" for gigabit connections.
- Example 1: Two-Adapter Fault Tolerance Team
One Intel PRO/1000 server adapter and one Intel PRO/100 server adapter - Ethernet_802.2

- Example 2: Two-Adapter ALB Team
Two Intel PRO/1000 server adapters - Ethernet_II frametype, IP and IPX protocols.

- Example 6: Two-Adapter ALB team, Five VLANs
