IT Assistant Command Line Launch

You can start IT Assistant from the command prompt so that it recognizes only certain systems.

To start IT Assistant in this manner, perform the following steps:

1. Open a command prompt window and change to the UserInterfaceComponents subdirectory of the IT Assistant installation directory.
   
   
2. At the command prompt, type the following line:

dcomita -hHostName

where HostName is the system of interest. IT Assistant displays summary information about the specified system.
