Our paper VERSE: Bridging Screen Readers and Voice Assistants for Enhanced Eyes-Free Web Search was accepted to ASSETS 2019 and captured the interest of press. Here is some of the coverage:- The Record: UW student helps to develop online accessibility tool.

A web interface for running Wizard of Oz studies on voice interaces is now available on Github. It is based on Meteor framework, that I used for my studies before, and I will be happy if other people find it useful. - February 19, 2018

About me
I am a PhD student in the University of Waterloo, working with Edith Law and Charlie Clarke. I was born in a small Russian town - Maykop and studied at Southern Federal University in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.
Research Interests
I am interested in exploring people's behaviour when interacting with conversational assistants, and learning how we can improve user experience. In a collaboration with different people, we have investigated user language for open ended-exploratory search and, more recently, for the task of cooking a culinary recipe.
