Alessandro Cosentino

PhD student

David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science
Institute for Quantum Computing
University of Waterloo

My research is in the field of quantum computing. I am particularly interested in questions regarding quantum information theory, quantum query complexity and structural complexity theory.

I am supervised by Prof. John Watrous

  • CS 766 - Theory of Quantum Information (Fall 2013)
  • CS 240 - Data Structures and Data Management (Winter 2011)
  • CS 341 - Algorithms (Spring 2010)
  • CS 115 - Introduction to Computer Science 1 (Winter 2010)

In Winter 2012 and Fall 2012 I have been a UNIX Consultant at the help centre of the Math Faculty Computing Facility.
