On a Ramanujan-Type Congruence for Partition Triples with 5-Cores

Abstract:
Let B5(3)(n) denote the number
of partition triples with 5-cores. In this short note, we prove a
Ramanujan-type congruence modulo 5α (α ≥ 1) for
B5(3)(n) by using recurrence relations
for the coefficients of B5(3)(n).
