  interaction methods to merge the\nreal with the virtual. An initial inves
 tigation looks at spatial\naugmented reality (SAR) and its effects on poin
 ting with a real mobile\nphone. A study reveals a set of trade-offs betwee
 n the raycast\,\nviewport\, and direct pointing techniques.
