Old BMath (CS) Checklist (2003-2004)

Rules for the BMath(CS) degree changed with the introduction of the 2003-2004 calendar. Here is a checklist for the "old" rules for easy comparison with the BCS and the new BMath rules. Checklists for other pre-2003 plans can be found in this table.

Required Courses: 7.5 CS units CS 132 or 133 or 3xx or 4xx CS 134 CS 240 CS 241 CS 246 CS 251 CS 341 CS 343 or 342 CS 350 or 354 CS 360 or 365 CS 370 or 371 CS 440 - 489 CS 440 - 489 CS 440 - 489 CS 440 - 498 or CS 6xx or CS 7xx or STAT 440 or CO 487 2.0 Elective units 5.5 Math units MATH 1[34]5 MATH 1[34]6 MATH 1[34]7 MATH 1[34]8 MATH 2[34]5 MATH 2[34]9 STAT 2[34]0 STAT 2[34]1       5.0 Non-math units

Additional Constraints: Eight terms enrolled in at least three courses totalling 1.5 units. No more than 3.0 units of excluded courses and non-excluded courses failed prior to the Fall 2004 term. CS Major Average of 60% or higher. Cumulative Average of 60% or higher. English Writing Skills.
