This is a summary of the currently planned division of resources between MFCF and CSCF. It is subject to change, simply providing a rough idea of the split.

As we discover other small servers that haven't been divided (e.g. as mathmac54 wasn't), we'll keep track to be sure that the division is fair.

- debian30, as a Debian distribution machine, that will have shared use/access
- Retiring
- We've been trying to decommission "math.uwaterloo.ca" for years now (see RT #38327). It's been agreed that MFCF can own it. CSCF can make new instances as needed of whatever services remain on it.

bbs6.math will be shared as a first stage patch testing machine.
These will be phased out in a controlled manner:

It's unclear what kind of space CSCF will get in the DC. So far there's been no assumption that CSCF will have any non-classroom space in the MC once it moves to the DC.
In exchange for Lori and Chris providing current teaching/classroom/machine room related services to both groups, CSCF will second a position to MFCF. CSCF will also be hiring several people, one of which will be the seconded position. The precise wording of the agreement is found elsewhere.
