The following shows progress with resolving various kinds of service records over the last year.
The title of each graph describes the selected records, having been either created or resolved during the year. The selections are all about client requests, with the exception of the few graphs that mention "proactive" work.
The dashed "Monthly" line is the number of requests unresolved each month; the difference between the number created and the number resolved. The solid "Total" line is the cumulative sum of the "Monthly"; the number of unresolved service records since a year ago.
Note that the "Total" line is not the current overall total of such records, it's just the total since the start of the sample period. The overall total is usually a value so large that it swamps the "Monthly" line, obscuring the trends in either graph.
