CSCF generally provides support during University Business Hours, typically 8:30 to 16:30. However, for years we've benefited from the goodwill of staff to do what they can outside of regular hours. That's not a guarantee of service. So, in addition to the existing means of reporting problems, there is an email address
cscf-urgent@listswhich some staff may be subscribed to. It's done via email as the easiest way to notice the reports. It really is intended only for urgent, after hours reports. For almost everything else, the existing means of reporting problems, Points of Contact and the Help Desk, are best.
For emergencies that appear to demand immediate attention, such as water leaking near or in machine rooms and labs with computing equipment, call the Campus police at extension 22222. They'll determine an appropriate action. They have a (small) list of staff phone numbers intended for problems that can't wait until the next business day.
