TRAVEL

We recommend that you arrive in Kitchener-Waterloo on August 7 (Wednesday) and depart on August 10 (Saturday).

BY AIR THROUGH TORONTO

Kitchener-Waterloo is approximately 100 km from Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Airways Transit connects Toronto (Pearson), Hamilton (Munro), and Region of Waterloo Intl. Airports with the Kitchener-Waterloo area by providing 24 hour shared ride door-to-door service.

For Toronto Pearson airport we have obtained a reduced conference fare of $58.00 per person, one way, tax included. To receive the reduced fare you must book in advance and identify yourself as a CCCG 2013 delegate.

To make reservations online:

http://conferences.airwaystransit.com Enter conference code: CCCG 2013 (enter exactly as shown)

By phone 24 hours: 519 886 2121 Please identify yourself as a CCCG 2013 delegate.

Please note that another airport in Toronto, Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, is closer to Downtown Toronto but further from Kitchener-Waterloo.

Boulevard Limousine is one alternative to get from Pearson to Waterloo. The price is higher than Airways Transit, but there is a much lower wait and travel time with this service. For more information, see http://boulevardlimousine.ca/home/

One final alternative is to get a taxi directly from the airport. This costs approximately $147 dollars, and is quite convenient as there is no booking necessary.

By Air Through Kitchener or London

Region of Waterloo International Airport: http://www.waterlooairport.ca/en/ has direct flights to/from Chicago via American Airlines/American Eagle. Twenty-five minute drive to Waterloo (taxi cost $45.00 approx.).

London International Airport: http://www.londonairport.on.ca/ has direct daily flights to/from Chicago via United Airlines. One hour and twenty minute drive to Waterloo.

BY CAR

The following information may be useful: Since June 2012, Canadians have been allowed to cross Canada-US border with a rental vehicle from the United States.

BY AIR THROUGH BUFFALO

You may fly to the airport in Buffalo first, and then go to Kitchener-Waterloo with ground transportation (see By Car and By Bus).

BY BUS

You may take a Go Transit, Greyhound, or Coach Canada bus from near cities. Please note that Charles St. Terminal could be an option if you could not find a bus to University of Waterloo directly.
