Subject: Re: Letter from Provost Rush From: Richard Mann Date: 11/28/21, 1:10 PM To: Vice Pres Academic Provost , CC: Lori Curtis , Erin Windibank Sun Nov 28 2021 BY EMAIL To: James W. E. Rush, Vice-President Academic & Provost University of Waterloo CC: Erin Windibank, Executive Manager FAUW Professor Lori J. Curtis, President, FAUW Dear Professor Rush, I am writing in reply to your letter of Nov 25, 2021 (attached). I am writing to ask that the suspension letters, followed by the letter of correction (Nov 14, 2021) remain in my employment record. If my case ever goes to arbitration or legal action, that information must be documented in my file. Further, I note that my  In my grievance (Nov 17, 2021) I included additional information about my medical accommodations.  The objective of the accommodations were to both reduce my work load and provide safeguards to deal with an unpredictable and toxic work environment.  Accommodations were negotiated over several years with a dedicated FAUW representative. The agreement was approved by a previous Provost in 2011. When I return to work, I expect I will revisit the issues of the original accommodation, and my full employment record will be necessary to do that. Sincerely,   Richard Mann Attachments:
