CS 856 - Web Data Management

This course will be taken by students at the University of Waterloo (UW), University of Toronto (UofT), York University (York), and IBM Canada Laboratory (IBM). We will be experimenting with new and exciting course delivery technologies that will involve video conferencing among the four sites. The course will meet on Wednesdays 3:00-6:00. Course meeting locations are as follows:

UW: LIB 329 (FLEX Lab in Dana Porter Library).
UofT: UC 259
York: Stedman 114G
IBM: Y4-012

UW students: This course will count towards your 84X requirement or your 85x requirement (not both).

Regarding the structure of the paper critique, please look at Frank Tompa's CS748S critique guidelines. The two changes that you should make is that I want the critiques to be 5-7 pages and we are looking for things to go into "CS 856 Selected Paper Series".
