Research Interests
I'm interested in problems where a group of individuals must make some collective decision. The individuals can have widely varying preferences, which they may falsely report for their own self-interest. In particular, I've recently focussed on the area of Computational Social Choice. I'm examing how randomisation can improve mechanisms for social choice problems, and alleviate computational and game theoretic issues. I'm also interested in appropriate perfomance measures and desiderata for randomised mechanisms for social choice problems.
